Jagruth Tech Pvt Ltd, Mysuru, welcomed students from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Vidyavardhaka Sangha School on 18th and 19th September 2026 for educational visits focused on waste management, plastic waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable technology.

The visits provided students with an opportunity to move beyond classroom learning and gain firsthand exposure to practical waste-management operations and sustainable solutions.

Learning Sustainability Through Real-World Experience

Students from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan visited Jagruth Tech as part of their preparation for their upcoming Open Day. During the visit, they explored the company’s waste-management operations, learned about sustainable practices, and interacted with the Jagruth Tech team to understand how technology can be applied to address real-world environmental challenges.

The factory tour was led by Itira Ranjan Bopanna (Dinesh Bopanna), who guided the students through the facility and explained various aspects of waste management and sustainable solutions.

On the following day, students from Vidyavardhaka Sangha School visited Jagruth Tech as part of their project on plastic waste reduction. The students gained practical insights into plastic waste management, recycling processes, and the importance of responsible waste handling.

From Plastic Waste to Sustainable Solutions

The visits helped students understand that effective waste management goes beyond simply collecting and disposing of waste. They learned about the importance of segregation, recycling, reuse, resource recovery, and responsible consumption in building a more sustainable future.
